Mrs . Pearl Reinken , 81 , died at her home in Hampshire Saturday afternoon October 19 , 1963 . She was born in Hampshire May 14 , 1882 , the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Becker Werthwein . She graduated from the Chicago College of Music and taught music in the schools of Decorah and LeMars , Iowa . She married John H . Reinken , Dec . 1915 and they made their home in Hampshire . She taught voice and piano for many years . Surviving are her husband , several nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by a twin brother Percy in 1935 and two brothers in infancy . Funeral services were held at 2 p . m . Tuesday in the : Fredrick ; Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Farley , pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church , officiating . Burial was in Hampshire Center Cemetery . True Republican, 25 October 1963.
