This obituary is from the Tuesday, January 11, 2011 edition of the Press Enterprise. Donald L. Young Wise Foods retiree enjoyed hunting and fishing Donald Larue Young, 73, of P.O. Box 137, Benton, went to be with his Savior and Lord at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at the Bloomsburg Health Care Center, with his family at his side. Born Nov. 22, 1937, in Orange Township, he was a son of the late Bruce and Lula Grace (Musselman) Young. Mr. Young attended Benton schools and was a member of Jackson Baptist Church in Derrs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his family and friends. He had been employed by Wise Foods Inc. in Berwick, where he worked as a truck loader from 1976 until 1995, when he retired due to medical complications. He will be remembered by his wife, Geraldine (Morris) Young, with whom he joined hands in marriage on May 19, 1969. Also surviving are his two children: Brian Young, Berwick, and Lisa Young Morris and her husband, Darrell, of Orangeville; four grandchildren: Lundy, Samantha, Emily and Toby; two great-grandchildren: Liya and Huntyr, and the following brothers and sisters: Mary Lou DeFrain, Bloomsburg; Edna Gearhart, Berwick; Evelyn Schultz, Millville; Bruce Young, Benton; Carlton Young, Benton; Dale Young, Millville, and Larry Young, Millville, and numerous nieces and nephews. "Forever in our hearts." In addition to his parents, Bruce and Lula Grace Young, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Young, and by a daughter-in-law, Lori Lee Eck Young.
