Elizabeth C. Szerator, 71, died Monday at the Helene Fuld Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Trenton before moving to Hamilton last year. She and her late husband Stephen Szerator established "Betty's Pet shop" on Cleveland Ave. in 1956 and operated it until 1989. The daughter of the late William and Rosella Gilroy Adams, she is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law: Patricia Szerator and Louise E. and John Marker, all of Hamilton Township, and Judith Anne Keenan of Trenton; one sister, Rose Tristan of Hamilton Square; two grandsons, two grandaughters, three great-grandchildren, and three nieces. Funeral services were held privately Wednesday from the Jospeh P. Horan Funeral Home, 432 Hamilton Ave. Cremation followed at the Greenwood Crematorium. A memorial service will be Friday at 11AM at the gravesite in Riverview Cemetery. Trenton Times May 13, 1993
