Gerald [ Jerald ]Lee Greiman, 27, son of Wilson Greiman, Garner, was one of seven Iowans who died in highway accidents over the weekend.
Greiman was alone in his car Saturday night when the car hit a bridge abutment on Highway 3 a mile west of Dumont, in Butler County. The accident was covered by the Iowa Highway Patrol.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Zion United Church of Christ at Garner at 2 p.m. The Rev . Albert Guthmiller will be in charge of the services.
Burial will be at the Concord Cemetery at Garner. Military rites will be conducted by the Garner V.F.W. and the Garner American Legion Post.
Greiman was born July 30, 1935, at Iowa City, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Greiman, Garner.
Survivors include his parents, his wife, Grace; two sons, John and Bruce; a brother, Lynn, Garner; two sisters, Mrs. Rich (Marjorie) Koolbeck and Mrs. Roland (Shirley) Pals, both of Belmond; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Henry Reierson, Buffalo Center; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Greiman, Garner.
The Bohn Funeral Home, Garner, is in charge of arrangements.
