Thomas E. Braun, 73, of Fowlerville, died Sunday at his home. He was born to Edward Clinton and LuElla E. (Goll) Braun.
He was a 1957 graduate of Fowlerville High School and served in the US Army National Guard. He was a member of Fowlerville First United Methodist Church, Rotary, the Commercial Club, Fowlerville Agriculture Society, Managed the Fowlerville Fair for over 20 years, was President of Michigan Assc. Of Fairs & Exhibitions, served on the Livingston County Board of Social Services and loved trains.
Tom married Dawn Wyzlic in 1967 at Fowlerville First United Methodist Church. He owned Braun Cleaners, which was founded in 1954 by his parents, retiring in 2005.
Surviving are his wife: Dawn, 3 children: Kurt (Kristin) of Northville, Keri (Kevin) Kater of Oxford, Kami (Chris) Kargel of Fowlerville, 6 grandchildren: Tim Braun, Greg Braun, Makenna Kater, Peyton Kater, Ryan Kargel and Grant Kargel, Sister: Virginia Lehman of Kansas and brother: Gregory (Cathy) Braun of Williamston.
Services were Thursday Feb. 2, 2012 at Fowlerville First United Methodist Church with Kathy DeForest officiating.
