Steve Pinter, 97, died Monday, June 4, 2012. He was born in Piscataway, NJ the son of the late Joseph and Lydia Pinter. He was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough, NJ. Mr. Pinter was the owner and operator of the Pinter Beef and Pork Farm in Hillsborough, NJ. He was a hard working man who appreciated and enjoyed the outdoors while working his farm. Mr. Pinter was known for providing the highest quality beef and pork. He was loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed. He was predeceased by three sisters and by five brothers. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marion Pinter of Hillsborough, NJ; his son, Steve Pinter, Jr. and his wife Karen of Scotch Plains, NJ; his daughters, Karen DeMaio and her husband Vincent of Bethlehem Twp., NJ, Debbie Pinter of Hillsborough, NJ and Melody Turash and her husband Kenneth of Hillsborough, NJ; his brothers, George Pinter of New York, Ernie Pinter of South Carolina, Emil Pinter of South Brunswick, NJ; his sister, Jane Hallas of Florida and his adopted son, James O'Brien of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Neshanic Reformed Church, 715 Amwell Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.
