Here we have a copy of the 1890 New Brunswick City Directory for the Leppert family. This is an interesting document.

Assuming the information here is correct Aaron Leppert is not living with his wife. Mary Hart Leppert is living at their home located 168 Commercial Avenue. Aaron on the other hand appears to be bedding at 43 New Street, but more importantly working for the competition, names J.C. Miller Bakery.

Note that this entry was approximately twelve (12) years before Aaron's death on April 4, 1902.
