1900 United States Federal Census for the Schaub Family. At this time the family was living at 503 South Orange Avenue, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, United States of America. John was working as a grocer, his wife was a homemaker and the children were in school. It is interesting to note that also residing at this home were the family of Frances's sister Mary, the Sigmann's as well as the family of her half-sister Elisabeth (Lizzie) and her family, the Schroeder's. (This area is now blighted at best and this particular home has been destroyed.)
