Susan Joan Stone FRENCHTOWN, NJ - Susan Joan Stone, 54, of Frenchtown, NJ passed away on Friday May 8, 2009 at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver, CO. Born August 27, 1954 in New Brunswick, NJ, Sue grew up in Sayerville and Milltown, NJ, moving to Frenchtown in 1980. She was a graduate of New Brunswick High School. Sue worked as a clerk for the State of New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles in Flemington. Prior to that, he had worked as a manager at Ames and Jamesway Department Stores in Flemington and Pennsylvania. She was a Shop Steward for Local C.W.A. 1037 based in Newark NJ. Sue was a member of the American Legion Fidelity Post 113 Auxiliary in Frenchtown and the Frenchtown Lions Club. She was a loving wife, mother and friend and will be dearly missed. Daughter of the late Edward Frank and Mary Joan Lis, Sue is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Gregory Stone, three sons Daryll Fickling and his wife Sue of Forks Township, PA, Justin Fickling and his fiancÃ© Tammi of Clinton, NJ and Jonathan Stone of Frenchtown, NJ, her brother Dr. Randall Lis and his wife Dana of Pennsylvania and her granddaughter Kylie Fickling. Graveside services will be held on Thursday May 14, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Frenchtown Cemetery, Trenton Ave. (Rt. 29) in Frenchtown. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd. Milford, NJ 08848.
