REINHARDT, Dale W. Dale W. Reinhardt, 82, of Arapahoe, NC and Middletown, died Friday, (December 28, 2007). He was born in New Jersey on 6/17/25, son of Mary and Edward Reinhardt, and lived most of his life there, where he raised his six children and worked in many school districts, including Glen Rock, Kinnelon, Hanover, and Phillipsburg as a teacher and superintendent of schools. After several years as Sussex County Superintendent, Dale "retired" and moved to North Carolina, where he helped build the Arapahoe Charter School and taught ESL until June 2007. He was the inspiration for and builder of the first Library in Chacala, Nayarit, Mexico with the help of the Rotary Club, and was constructing a Medical and Dental Clinic there as well. Dale was a champion of education, supporter of the poor, and defender of the disenfranchised. Dale is survived by his loving children, Lynne and Gil Scullion, Alan and Debbie, Jan, Mark and Cindy, and Eric and Debbie Reinhardt, and Karen and Shawn Tayloe; grandchildren, Cate, Ben, Alisa, Brianna, Richard, Ryan, Amy and Sam and special friend Mary Chandler, and many wonderful friends in New Jersey, North Carolina and Chacala; brothers Ernie, Jerry and Ralph Reinhardt; and sister, Joan Lis, predeceased him. He will be greatly missed by many. Dale's ashes will reside in the library in Chacala. There will be no local services.
