Above me see an article from The Daily Home News (New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States of America.) from Wednesday, December 26, 1928. Taken from page nine (9), the left column has the Obituary of Mrs. Jacob Lachenmayer while the right column contains the death notice.

The death notice reads, "LACHENMAYER - At Highland Park, on December 25, 1928, Emma A., wife of Jacob Lachenmayer.

Relatives and friends of the family, also members of P. O. E. of A., No. 77, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from her late residence, 231 South Fourth avenue, Highland Park, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock."

The obituary reads:

MRS. JACOB LACHENMAYER

In the midst of the Christmas festivities at the home of Jacob Lachenmayer, at 231 South Fourth avenue, Highland Park, yesterday afternoon the Death Angel called Mrs. Emma A. Lachenmayer, wife of Jacob Lachenmayer. Mrs. Lachenmayer had been ill for some time but the end came very unexpectedly and was a terrible shock to the family circle.

Mrs. Lachenmayer was a member of the P. O. B. of A., No. 77, and was a very popular woman. Besided her husband she leaves the following children, Jacob Jr., John, Theodore, George, Mrs. Edward Reinhardt, Mrs. John Leppert, Misses Emma, Bertha and Ruth Lachenmayer.

The funeral will be held from her late home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. Anthony Luddens. Interment will be in Van Liew Cemetery under the direction of Undertaker Quackenboss and Son.
