Manifest dated August 13, 1943 from the merchant ship Northern Star, where Alfred Stelmaszek served in the armed guard.

During the second half of his career Alfred Stelmaszek served on board the USS Massey, a Sumner Class destroyer. Alfred was a plank owner on this ship, which meant he was part of the maiden crew that put the ship into service.
