This document is important because, amonst other aspects, it helps establish the closeness of the Kupsch and Hart families. Wenzel and Susan were residing on Main Street in Sayreville, New Jersey, although an exact address is not provided. Living with them is their daughter Olivia, with her husband Emil Muellar and their then infant daughter, Rosemary.
The indexes all seem to have Emil's surname as Mullar. However, it is clear there is an umlaute over the letter 'u' which changes the spelling to Muellar. I suspect that might even be Mueller.
Also living in the Kupsch residence is Susan's brother John Sr. and Susan's nephew John.
Note that just down the road is the Benjamin Hart family as well.
What I find interesting when I look at this census is that famlily 71/92 is that of Frank and Mary Lee. This jogged my memory and I believe that Lee is the surname of the elderly women I met on Kupsch Street. Will research this further.
